To celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Vietnam cultural activities are offered throughout 2018. The first "A Touch of Belgium - Một Thoáng Nước Bỉ" was held on Ly Thai To Square in the center of Hanoi. Artistic and cultural activities that represent and celebrate Belgian contemporary culture were presented to the public.

The day-long event offered multiple activities aimed at the whole family including children’s film screenings, dance performances, live music and Belgian food and beverage stands. This was a collaboration between the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam, Wallonie Brussels International, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District, Gingerwork Productions & Undecided Productions.
