Who is Belgium? was a group exhibition featuring Belgian based artists working within or around the fictional, collective and representational concept of space.
From journalistic studies of burlesque transformists, live drunken performance, tattoo, swimming pools and death scenes, various mediums were used to explore the central concept such as photography, design, tattoo, performance, drawing & dance.
The works presented by each artist, though widely varied in form, were selected for their ability to illustrate young contemporary art production in the little known kingdom. This is our take on Belgium.
